Google + iOS Update: Hang Outs video chat, new notification settings, and more

Google has a major update to Google + IOS release for the social network after the company earlier this week opened up to everyone .The main innovation is Hang Outs from the mobile application. This makes it possible to from the iPhone application for video chatting with friends. That was until now only available in the desktop version of Google +.

Also new is Messenger, which replaces the old Huddle and also received support for images. From Messenger you can now add photos from your fotorol or simply new photos. Google has expanded settings for push notifications added. You can now specify in the settings if you want to receive notifications for entries, shared messages, notes and comments after you have placed yourself a comment. You can also receive push notifications for people who you add to their circle, tag photos and comments to the photos.

Other improvements include the ability to comment on a one to provide a map for places you have lived, and a new function for messages instead of a circle with one or more people sharing. There is better support for search and makes it easier to + mentions doing through a pop-updialoog in which you want to call the user you can choose. Finally there are the requisite bugs fixed and performance improvements.
