JailBreaker @ pod2g has succeeded in an untethered jailbreak of iOS 5 .0.1 to run on the iPhone 3GS, iPad , and the third and fourth generation iPod touch. Previously described , we added that he iOS 5.0.1 on iPhone 4 untethered managed to jailbreak. Now all older iDevices using its IOS 5.0.1 jailbroken, will pod2g after jailbreak tested to try iPhone 4S and iPad 2 to jailbreak.

On Twitter, wrote Pod2g fact earlier that he would work on an untethered jailbreak for the iPhone 4S and iPad 2 when he was ready with the jailbreak for the other IOS devices that use IOS 5.0.1. How much work and time will sit right here in is not yet clear when he declared he had no iPhone 4S or iPad 2 at his disposal.
Pod2g also managed to get the latest firmware version of the Apple TV 4.4.3, to jailbreak untethered. This has long been only a tethered jailbreak for available.
When the untethered jailbreak of pod2g exactly will come is not yet clear. Is an untethered jailbreak of the iPhone 4S and iPad 2 to run it successfully, we will probably have to wait until they are completely finished with it.
