Apple released the first beta of iOS 5.1 and Xcode 4.3

Apple has released the night before the first build of iOS 5.1 (build number 9B5117b) for developers to download. Together with the beta for iOS also the associated Xcode version 4.3 was released. The development environment and the iOS 5.1 Beta 1 can normally be downloaded from the Apple Developer Center.

So far, however, no major changes are identified and Apple will probably concentrate in this IOS version on the fact that mobile operating system more stable and improve battery life. First observed that the overview of location services (Settings -> Location Services) was equipped with a new symbol. This separate icon indicates if an app uses geo-fencing to control the battery consumption of individual applications better. U.S. customers can look forward to a new software switch, can be activated by the mobile radio network for matching the iTunes library match.
Should open up further innovations in the next few hours, of course, we will post an update.
