The Dev-Team has made available an update to its tool unlocked iPhone UltraSn0w . Many people were waiting for this new version (v1.2.4) which is compatible with iOS 5 but does not yet support new basebands . Here is a list of basebands supported: 01.59.00 / 04.26.08 / 05.11.07 / 05.12.01 / 05.13.04 / 06.15.00 . The version of the baseband of your iPhone is available by going to the menu Settings> General> About> Prog. the modem .
For those who have not yet unlocked their iPhone:
1. Turn off your PIN code: Settings> Phone> SIM PIN
2. Go to Cydia and add source http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com, then type in the search for Cydia "Ultrasn0w" (Attention Ultrasn0w spelled with a zero), and install ultrasn0w 1.2.4
