surprisingly Apple CEO Steve Jobs announced his resignation as CEO of Apple for obvious reasons. Jobs made it clear in his press release this afternoon that the reason for resignation is that it can no longer fulfill the responsibilities of a CEO for the company.

If anything can be said of Jobs is the guy who can give all your steps and know all the consequences. Could not have picked a better time to do it than I did at the time that Apple is the most valuable company in the world, leaving the best person able to assume the role of CEO and undoubtedly already has the practice was responsible for the position when Steve took his first sick leave.
Tim Cook is one of the most brilliant in the industry, has the same innovative spirit but perhaps stay a little short on creativity, that's what sets Steve Jobs all the CEO in the industry.

II have always said if ever There Came a day When I Could No longer meet my expectations and Duties as Apple's CEO, I Would Be the first to let you know.Unfortunately, That day you eat.
I hereby resign as CEO of Apple. I Would like to serve, if the Board Sees fit, as Chairman of the Board, director and Apple employee.
As far as my successor goes, I recommend Strongly That We execute our succession plan and name Tim Cook as CEO of Apple.
I believe Apple's brightest days are Most Innovative and ahead of it. And I look forward to watching and STIs Contributing to success in a new role.
