Apple is working on navigation app for iOS

A new job offer was from AppleInsider shows and discovered that Apple is currently focused on the improvement of location-related applications for a future version of IOS. For such applications, Apple is currently looking for a talented "IOS QA Engineer Location" with a focus on GPS technology.




It was previously speculated that Apple are working on a better map app for IOS and this job offer confirmed this rumor, of course.

Quote from the job offer from Apple:


"You want to join a dynamic team responsible for qualifying the latest IOS products, working on exciting  new features  for IOS location services, "the listing reads. "The successful candidate will complete both documented and adhoc testing to Ensure high quality releases."

Specifically, a preferred candidate will have experience with GPS as well as "navigation algorithms," suggesting that Apple could be working on a turn-by-turn navigation service similar t the free Google Maps navigation. "
