iPhone 5 can be Thinner with 5MP Camera

But a recent announcement by OmniVision seems to rule out the 8 megapixels.

OmniVision, a leading provider of CMOS sensors for devices iOS Apple has introduced the OV5690, a module thinner and with higher quality.
According to OmniVision reports , the OV5690 is a 5 megapixel camera with improved image quality can capture full HD video at 1080p 30 frames per second

The above features make the OV5690 an ideal candidate for ultra-thin device IOS next-generation, iPod 5G and iPad Touch 3.
In addition, joining the OV5690 on iPhone 5, the thickness of the device could be reduced significantly.
