Apple confirms the availability of 4.2 with free Find My iPhone

Finally! For weeks as we await the arrival of IOS 4.2. Apple has indicated that the new firmware will be available tonight (normally around 19h). This is not the only good news. A few days ago, MacRumors has found several references that might indicate the free services in MobileMe. Apple said today that the service Find My iPhone is now free to respond in a manner similar service has launched Microsoft Windows Phone 7.

Remember the "Find my iPhone" is an option offered by Apple which allows you to locate your iPhone in case of theft or loss, as well as remotely lock or wipe the device. This function will only be available on the iPhone 4, iPad Touch and iPod 4G.
