Google released a statistic that raises many comments

In his presentation post Nexus S, Google released a statistic that raises many comments . The Internet giant said that its operating system is embedded in more than 100 aircraft and it makes a little over 200 000 activations per day.
This last figure is much respond. If it is true, it means that the growth of Android starts to nosedive. Indeed, last August, Eric Schmidt had confided that 200,000 units were activated using Android every day. So far, this figure rose steadily. In June, for example, Google listing 160,000 activations days .

Gingerbread Release is official!

After unveiling the Nexus S, the firm took the opportunity to announce Gingerbread. All with a nifty little video funny story that feels family. Not much to say yet, except that Google Android 2.3 will pull most out of the axis gyro and some menus have been slightly reworked for the occasion.

Two years after launching the first Android phone, the Nexus One, Google makes the official release of his second phone sold under its brand, the Nexus S. Unveiled on November 16 by Eric Schmidt, Google CEO , at a conference in San Francisco, the Nexus O is the first phone to incorporate the new version of the operating system from Google, Android 2.3 , aka Gingerbread (" gingerbread).
The main details of this series phone Nexus: Super AMOLED screen of 4 inches (10.2 cm) diagonal, tri-band 3G connectivity, two cameras (front and rear) with a 5-megapixel sensor, 16 GB storage memory and 512 MB of RAM. The processor is the same as the Samsung Galaxy S: Samsung Hummingbird Cortex A8 to 1 GHz.

The people of XDA obtained in exclusive, by anonymous sources, a series of images revealing the Gingerbread user interface and the first technical specifications for Nexus S.
