Problems with the iPhone iOS 4.2.1 Battery Life after unlocking with UltraSn0w 1.2

Now after much time has been able to raise the baseband of the iPhone to 06.15.00 and then release it UltraSn0whave begun to emerge some problems, including battery life.
The problem arises in the iPhone 3G/ 3G and it has nothing to do with UltraSn0w. It seems that arises during hacktivation, made with alternative activation redsn0w and PwnageTool.

According BigBoss, IOS 4.1/4.2.1 constantly checks if you push certificates valid on any network

Well, now there are 3 solutions, two of which are temporary:
- Getting a SIM card from the same supplier of the iPhone you use, just to activate it, then we can use any SIM (involves re-jailbreak, but hacktivation)
- Install from Cydia SBSettings to turn off the EDGE and 3G when not being used
- Wait for a real solution is released in the coming days Cydia.

By now we know that the Dev Team are already working to implement a hack to solve this problem
