Apple would have to release a security patch for owners of iPhone 3G and older iPod touch models. They usually run risks, claims security company Sophos.
That has to do with the latest Apple firmware update 4.3 available suggests that these older devices. iOS 4.3 contains not only "nice" and innovations such as improved AirPlay iTunes Home Sharing, but also solves some security problems. Only owners of an iPhone 3G , iPhone 4, iPad and recent iPod touch models can install the update. An official patch to ensure that older aircraft are also protected, is not there.
