Apple released yesterday through the Software Update iTunes 10.1.1 version, which has been discussed quite a few mistakes by users. In addition this update coming to fix the errors yield the same, although in many cases has done the opposite.
It seems that users who installed via software update had problems, like not being able to open the application or the application closed before you synchronize the contents completely.
These problems have been solved by many users, uninstalling the application from Software Update and then re-download and install from the iTunes page from Apple.
